Really weird how he can't get minutes. I totally forgot about him. Not sure we could get him, but would absolutely go for him or Elliott if there's even a chance.
Mainoo and Elliott can't run they are snails pace slow

SP

AP was there today in his civies, I think his time is up.

LC

If Andreas leaves and Liverpool sell Elliot for a big fee we should have a fair bit of cash coming in. (I think we have a 20% sell on fee for Elliott from what I've read online).

Thing is, despite this we've mistakenly felt big sales would signify big spending which never came. The surprise Stansfield 'pure profit' sale hasn't been seen on acquisitions yet, nor Palhinha or Mitrovic.

Think the owners are in clawback mode like the last days of MAF

The 'last days' of Khan are taking an awfully long time to come to an end if this is so; the sale of Mitrovic was 2 years ago.

The owners are very rich. They didn't become rich by spending lots of money on infrastructure as they have at the Cottage with the new stand. Then selling up. People suggesting that they are winding down so they can sell. Seems somewhat wide of the mark to me.

I presume Andreas is leaving. I presume the wages saved and the fee will help bring in a winger. But while disappointing. It is clear that a settled squad is doing very nicely while teams who have gone out and spent money don't always look as composed as we have.

See what happens in the next 8 days. But selling up seems the last thing that makes sense.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

I just did a quick Google search, Shahid Khan has a net worth of $13.9 billion dollars. I don't think he needs the money.

The owners have consistently invested in the team and as a long-term fan I've never seen us spend the way they have. I remember a time when everyone thought whether we would ever spend £20m on a single player.. we've done that a few times under Shahid Khan so I have no complaints.

RS61

People have been claiming the Khans are selling for years because they want them to. Zero fact or logic behind it.

Definitely looks like Pereira is off a shame a good  Footballer Fulham needed him and he needed Fulham perhaps the time is right will be missed I reckon.

What would to consider to be 'spending the money'? Because I can't remember the last time we ended a season without spending more than we sold for.

MAF was essentially unwinding his position in Fulham for 2-3 years before the sale, although not sure there's any logical reason a billionaire's loss of enthusiasm or appetite for investment in a project needs to follow any particular precedent timeline anyway

..FOF..

The Khans are not selling the club.

They just wanted a change in management strategy.

A lot of clues in the recent programme notes.

SK have invested in the Academy and now attracting good young prospects.

SK also have invested heavily in the area around Craven Cottage to make it more enticing for parents to send their kids to Fulham.

Not ideal, because we are in transition.

If you keep saying "The Khans are planning to sell Fulham"... one day you will be correct ... like a broken clock...
"Whether you think you can or you think you can't,....you're right"

SuffolkWhite

I was in conversation with someone yesterday who said the Khan's are selling. It's rumour nothing more. They did say they had that from someone itk, make of it what you will.

I'll hold judgement on it all until the window has closed, but if there are no signings then it defo does have that feel of an owner calling it a day.

If the Khan's do sell then fair enough, they've invested a lot of money and it's their choice at the end if the day.

I'm no supporter of the "selling up theory" but I do find it puzzling that they bought the BBC land adjacent to our training area but, as far as I am aware, have done absolutely nothing with it. If I'm correct (and I might be way off the mark) then I wonder what is holding them up? It might be legislative complications or something but I do wish there was a bit more transparency and communication which could help kill some of these conspiracy theories.

HV71

Twig is spot on.
The total lack of any real communication- the " plan" that never materialised / the lack of activity in certain areas just fuels speculation .
I don't necessarily think we are for sale but I do think that the ownership may well be happy with mid - lower table finish . They have achieved b their goal of stability ( after the yo- yo years ) have an infrastructure and product that they keep polishing and sweating the asset in the high margin areas ( not the Hammy end loos ) .
This can only look good on any sales brochure for when they do eventually decide to cash in their investment.
As I have said previously this is perfectly acceptable and sensible behaviour for FFC as a business - just not that exciting for a fan

I'm just hoping the club know that the close of trading is 7pm on Monday 1st September not 11pm.

Be even more worried if it clashes with any wrestling

Looks like Mainoo is out at Utd! Now that is one good box to box type player.
Not sure if any of the big teams have room for him perhaps Spurs or Villa but if we could get him in even on loan would be a coup?
