Quote from: hopper on August 26, 2025, 09:49:47 AMDibling deal confirmed now for Everton. Can't. say I've seen a lot of him but they're improving their creativity quite a lot compared to last season. Thought Grealish looked good on Saturday as well.
Dibling looks a  good player on the light side maybe. Everton losing their Dogs of War image easier on the eye but easier to get around the Back.

Quote from: Bassey the warrior on August 26, 2025, 11:26:37 AMDoes anyone know our financial situation, are we at risk?

Given how long and determinedly we're holding onto our money, think the biggest risk is a banknote going out of circulation and us forgetting to get it changed up in time.

Had 4 hamstring injuries , yes 4 on loan at Sevilla

Yes and 6 hamstring injuries in total over the last 20 months! If the Fulham board are reluctant to green light Nelson due to his injury record, then I would say there is absolutely no chance whatsoever they would approve this guy signing.

More links with damaged second hand goods that no one wants.

It's pathetic.

Surely the club would have scouted already and known if they want to bid or not; basing it on current match seems a bit ridiculous. Wonder if this is agent talk. Not sure we end up with Otele.

Imagine the meltdown if it happens again (it won't surely)

We cant have him once again, makes no sense at all

I would think that they are letting him keep his fitness up, nothing more.

PSR is fine, it's the fact our wages to revenue ratio is so high that would be the issue moving forward with the proposed new way of leashing mid-table clubs to a lifetime of financial limitations

Presumably we would need to move away from signing older players on the cheap but paying high wages - such as Jimenez or Willian. I wonder how Silva feels about that, it's worked out very well for him so far .

Last minute desperation move is on the cards.

If we sign him up last minute instead of Kevin or some young, pacy left winger then I give up for this season

I see we're in that part of the window where people are making up things to get angry about.

Didn't you know? We only sign Arsenal and Chelsea rejects these days.

General

Just shy of 6 full days left to this window..

Just goes to show how slow the club are.. consider they're expecting now to get everything done within a week, when so often it seems to drag on for months.

Feeling pessimistic but hopeful.. just about..

Typical. Having to pay for priests and witches and anything occult to resurrect the dead and the dying. Grave diggers digging up long dead corpses who are now on our list of possibles. Raiding hospitals and the mortuary for fresh names.

Look he is only missing the one leg. He will do as a sub. Oh the shame and degradation. The fact United on Sunday had three trillion pounds of players in the forward line. The fact that Brighton all had lovely gleaming new names. Seems to have passed us by.

By next Tuesday we will have three players in, would have lost to Chelsea and still be depressed.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

And still they did not beat us. ::wine::

I would have him back in a heart beat. We would do a lot worse. Might have lost a yard of pace but he's a baller. Marco is a huge fan.

Did you actually watch him last season? And for a matter of fact, the season before that? He's finished, we need to accept it.

If we end up signing Willian YET AGAIN and announce it as if we just did a groundbreaking new signing I will, for once, be utterly and absolutely furious.

I was amazed to read yesterday that Josh Brownhill is still a free agent after winding down his contract at Burnley in June.

He's linked with Leeds and not suggesting at 30 (this coming December) he's someone we should look at; just very surprised he hasn't already been snapped up
