Disgraceful.

How do you know For sure the dilly dallying was all on us?? Sporting also went in with a bid early in the summer apparently. Were they also dilly dallying but their dilly dally worked out better than ours? Was Kevin always favouring a move to sporting and so dragged it out?

Did his reps know sporting were considering a bid and so trying to f around with the wage fees and drag it out?

You don't know and I don't know.

So let's just see how it plays out ay .

All this "disgraceful" stuff is so overboard when you have no idea what's going on in these rooms other than 90% speculation.

Devil's advocate but he never said it was disgraceful from Fulham!

Quote from: Neutral Zone Ultra on September 01, 2025, 04:09:59 PMBBC just now suggesting Kevin isn't happening:

"Fulham have agreed a £22m fee with Chelsea to sign winger Tyrique George.

The 19-year-old is expected to agree a five year contract at Craven Cottage and Chelsea could also benefit in the future from a sell-on clause.

However, the deal also comes after Sporting matched Fulham's club-record £34m offer to Shakhtar for Kevin, with a five year deal on the table.

Kevin had left open the possibility of moving to another club by not signing the five year contract on offer and is now expected to move to Portugal."

This is from a Chelsea reporter who works for the BBC who knows nothing about Fulham. He is picking up the earlier thread, looking at the Chelsea connection and speculating.
Hope you're right but I feel Kinsella is usually quite reliable.

I believe there a lot of people just trying to put the hoots on it.
I think he's passed medical and the paperwork has gone in.

Would be nice if the club told their fans what was going on.

Fulham Mike

Surely even we can't complete a medical for a player for him to then sign elsewhere

🤣🤣 I don't think he's saying he hopes Kevin's camp are happy with themselves for crushing our dreams of a record move 😅 especially given previous post history

Just to make it clear. Kevin fee has been agreed. Sporting couldn't match it. But what has happened since then I have no idea. All this seems to have come from a Chelsea Reporter who works for the BBC.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

I know I know I'm being facetious, silly season after all

Angus Telford

The Kevin fee could have been agreed a month ago.

He was there for the taking all along for something in the region of the fee we've now finally agreed on.

Absolutely absurd that we're sat here with two hours of the window left not knowing who whether we'll sign anyone besides Lecomte.

My point is that we should have had this put to bed ages ago and signed him.

As it's been suggested, leaving things until the last minute has potentially killed the deal.

The deadline for the Premier League and all EFL clubs is at 19:00 BST today.
This is the same deadline for Germany, Italy and France.
If a move fails to materialise after the Premier League transfer deadline has closed, players and clubs still have a few options available.
Scotland, Spain (23:00) and Portugal's (00:00) deadline is later on Monday.
The Eredivisie deadline is 24 hours later at 23:00 on Tuesday, 2 September.
Belgium and Switzerland's window closes on Monday, 8 September.
The Saudi Pro League window closes on Tuesday, 23 September.
Turkey and Greece's windows close on Sunday, 12 September.
The Serbian Super Liga's deadline is on Friday, 17 September.

So basically what this means for us is that our players can still leave even once we are past the point of signing replacements.

Fulham 1879

I very much hope we sign Kevin because I don't think George and Samuel Chukwueze will make us a stronger team in the short term. Former may have talent while the latter looks short on real class.

Remember Andre last season missed out on him but it wasn't earth shattering.

If we loose this Kevin deal we seriously need to fire somebody, hopefully our CEO.
It could however be down to the mercenaries that are the player and agent playing us for a better deal at the last minute, if the latter is the case, then F#@k them both.

Lighthouse

People forget that Kevin was injured. But make up your own stories and believe the Chelsea reporter who is reporting things that were reported this morning. Whatever happens it will always be Fulham's fault.
