He's hardly got any managerial experience. Most of his experience was gained following Silva from club to club. If appointed, then Khan must regard him as a continuity candidate but personally totally underwhelmed. Abel Ferreira at least had a history of trophies in Brazil.

Looking at the shortlist I'd be happy with Amorim. A bit rigid on system but would suit our squad. Back 3 with wing backs. Having a Portuguese manager again would bring some continuity.
