Tutto Atalanta is reporting today that Fulham are preparing an improved €27 million offer for Raoul Bellanova.

And, for what it's worth, DigiSport Romania is reporting that Andrei Rațiu's transfer is 99% done.

I thought the issue was he changed agent and then the add on fees took the deal above 40 million.

Rennes are asking for over €50 million for Ait Boudal and getting a RCB in just before the close of the transfer window is going to be difficult as a replacement will have to be found.
Nwaiwu at €40 million still works out cheaper and the Turkish transfer window has 2 extra days before it

Thing is trabzonspor don't wanna sell at this point and already hiked his wages. Looks a no go at this point and sounds like agent was hiking up all sorts of demands

Isn't that the same with literally every club? No DoF or manager is going to go around telling the media which players they're after. The only ones who might talk about it is the selling club, e.g. PSV's manager when we were after Pepi

Because league 1 is miles off premier league level, the gulf between the Prem and the Champ is already massive.

There's lots of players over the years have made the step up to higher league given the chance.

I'll retract this post if it turns out to be wrong but as it stands, we look almost certain to fail to improve at least 1-2 of the ~3 positions we vitally need to improve. Anyone we do bring in now will probably be our 3rd or 4th choice, and we'll likely pay over the odds because everyone can see how desperate we are. There's a good chance we'll spend £100m this window and end up weaker than we were last year. Our approach to transfer execution remains an epic shortcoming in how we're run as a club.

Apparently we're in talks for Hugo Larsson from Eintracht Frankfurt. No idea what this would mean for the Angel deal.
