To suggest that Jovanovic has little say in transfers is just daft. They may do the stats/admin etc but surely he both identifies targets & has the final say so. Trusting there will be an opportunity or two for him to do the latter before 11pm tonight.

Think the "Talk to Tony, Craig and Alistair" comment serves two purposes for SJ: expresses his frustration with some part of how it works and it's also his "I don't talk about transfers" response.

He is very unlikely to have the final say so.

Going by the minutes from the FST meeting re the Ayite signing then he did have the final say so.
Problem is none of us know for certain one way or the other and that adds to our frustrations

This obviously isn't the case at all, They would only let these 3 strikers go (All 3 are not good enough to play regularly here anyway) if they are getting in atleast 1 striker that is better.

I love watching the Joka interviews.  His English is so poor and his phrasing so unique that it's remarkably difficult to interpret exactly what he is saying.  I think that can be a big advantage in dealing with the press.  Strange that nobody asks him to restate or clarify his statements.  Also, I couldn't help but notice that Sarah was thumbing her phone like a dervish in the interview after the Hull match.  What the heck was she doing?  Texting her friends?  Or transcribing Joka's statements for later clarification/translation?

We understand the deal is a loan with an option to buy.

Thought he was a bit of a bad attitude player with W. Ham.
