Ross McCormack is having a medical with forest apparently, I'm glad he thought the grass was greener!

Ordar

It's all gone very quiet..

Who's still in play?

Well I am not going to take back what I said about our transfer team because at the very last they do what they could have done weeks ago, but Cyriac is a good signing and he'll be a hard act to keep out of the danger area.  Quick and strong and well worth the loan.  Now Fulham where is this second signing?
Yep, can't believe this couldn't have been done sooner. And if the enrich rumours were true, then we could have met his buy out clause on the first of January. No domino effect with this player
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

Was hoping we would sign Cyriac in the summer.  Fast, Strong, perfect.   Fits our style scores goals incl pens.  As for the loan, proved ideal with Madl, can't see a Martin problem and if we have the option to buy then I would consider him a Fulham player.  Wish we had an option on Kalas.
Fits our style needs to be seen, he likes the ball in behind to run onto, doesn't play like Martin at all, my initial thought was he will be the option to come on off the bench. But he does have skills we need and skills we lacked, hopefully he can step up from the Jupiler league to play in the championship

I really don't understand the Enrich scenario at all unless his parent club were playing silly buggers all along.

Remember Kebano to return, so with him, Aluko, Ayite, Sess, and now Cyriac we have pace all over the place.  Compare that to a year ago.

they didn't want to sell him, every player has a release clause in their contracts in Spain, don't think you can sign a contract if it doesn't have one. So not wanting to sell him they have allegedly offered him a new contract

Apparently the club was saying the player had to buy himself out.
With taxes it was adding 4 million euros to the price. 14 million is deemed too much by FFC
Clearly Derby aren't the only dirty buggers

Looking on the brighter side SJ may be very pleased to have an option other than Martin in the form of Cyriac because he really knows how to make players work for their places in the side, but another signing with an hour to go would be the icing on the cake so far as a promotion challenge goes.

I was there, standing in the Putney end

We Are Premier League

Offer the Derby player a promotion bonus and pray that Kalas, Johansen and Cairney can play every game remaining this season...that is my solution to a push for promotion.

now I love SJ,  but don't agree with that. Pretty much everyone of our first 11 core have playedbbadbenough to be dropped at some stage this season but never have. I'd say he prefers consistency over making them work for a spot

Enrich: I would be surprised if we've not had a couple of lower bids turned down by Eibar in this window, but whether it's the player not wanting to join us or his club who have scuppered the transfer, if we'd met the release clause last week, we'd have found out all of this in time to target a different striker of his calibre.

I know the facts of the situation are not fully known (they never are) and I would normally defend the club from assumptions, but at face value, it does appear a poor decision to wait until the final day of the window to try to secure a player whom we've known all about for the past six months... only to find that we were never going to be able to get him and, to make matters worse, not leave ourselves the chance to spend our £8.6M elsewhere.

But FulhamBen our defence, midfield and attack didn't settle down to a core squad until Octoberish - Johansen was dropped for example; combinations in midfield were altered. the full backs were switched around until he settled on a pattern that worked well.  Once you have a core it is only when there is a true challenger to a first team spot will SJ be able to make someone work.  Martin has been spoiled by being the one position where he wasn't under challenge at all (apart from when the team played really well without him).

One James stannard

Must admit I'm gutted about Jordan Rhodes, he knows where the net is and is a great buy at 10m for a 26 year old PROVEN goal scorer.

I'd also be happy if we could bring in Loic remy, a player who I think is very under rated.

All that being said I have full confidence and trust in Slav

Agree with you Arthur.  It is called strategy.
