Fluminense enters into an agreement with Fulham and forwards the sale of André

Lets go!!
Sess on a free - ESR - Andre, would be a great way to kick things off. And if we can tie em up by the end of the week then plenty time to get training too.

Have a look for yourself.. Don't forget, he's also a full Brazil international and just 23 yrs old.

West ham likely to press ahead with Summerville bid having missed out on Soule from juventus who went to Roma.

Think we might find it tough to bring him in if were even really interested.

25m andre
30m ESR
Probably 25 needed for chalobah
20m for oosterwolde

Thats 100m already.

So would probably need to sell Andreas if we had any intention of competiting for him. With Sess/ESR/Iwobi we probably dont need to drop that kinda money on another LW, especially of we also keep willian. Id love to sign him as would provide even more firepower  but cant see it happening

We are in talks with a Keeper as well as a RCB - both very left of field.

haha! I was trying to avoid the stupid profanity filter, honest...  :slap:

With regards to West Ham and any bids, remember that they do this all of the time.  " yep, we were in for Messi but our bid fell just short at the last hurdle"

Dumb West Ham fans buy this rubbish.

Surely the Oosterwolde rumours are BS, unless we're getting him on loan with an option or something like that. Theres no chance we're dropping £20m on another left-back.
Unless Robinson is on his way.

Unless we start selling players, I can only see us buying another RCB and another CM, those two alone will likely cost us around 45-50 and with ESR and André that would set us back 100 mil. Dont think we will spend much more than that, and I dont think anyone can demand much more than that from the club either. Maybe the odd loan deal for a third position.

Anything beyond those two positions are bonuses for me.

It depends on our transfer budget though doesn't it. Don't forget we seemingly hardly spent much of both Palhinha and Mitro sales, plus we've got a lot of players off the books like Anguissa etc that had high costs associated. Perhaps this is just a perfect storm window for us.. or we get in Andre, ESR, Sessegnon (who's a free let's remember)..

Esr and andre if you take into account Palhinhas sale, cost £10m extra?

Perhaps we started with £100m to spend this window? Does that or doesn't it include mitro cash?

That gives us at least another £90m if so. Which means another £50 on a CM and RCB.. then £40m potentially left for a LB and striker and maybe one or two loans?

There are so many ways this can all pan out.

Sounds like that RCB needs to work on his positioning

Yes it entirely depends on our budget.

I just dont see why we would spend so much, since all numbers Ive seen so far on here are just assumptions and guesses. So personally I wouldnt expect much more from the club as we have so far done some brilliant business, and signing two more players for 50 or so would be something amazing, and not something Id expect from a club thats no way near top 6.

sess,Andre and ESR 60 million wow what a statement it sends that we are pushing onwards and upwards if these players arrive and announced by the club.

Because having a settled squad of top young talent that can grow and not having to constantly fill out the squad with loans or risk losing players is obviously important. Marco is ambitious and wants to kick on.

We need a RCB and LB and additional CM at a bare minimum beyond signing Sess, Andre and ESR. A top striker could wait for another window, because last season we scored the most in a season we've ever scored.. and with ESR added to attacking line up and potentially bringing back Willian too, we should hope to see an up tick in confidence and goals from Muniz and Jimenez, plus better service.

But the rest are needed. We need a strong and long term contracted squad so we can continue to build accordingly.

Craven Mad

Three heavily rumoured incomings under 25 (Sess, ESR, Andre), and practically every other rumour also being under 25 (eg Chalobah, Rios, Oosterwolde, Saelemakers etc).

This is shaping up to be a window where we improve both the quality and age profile of the squad.

Exciting stuff  ::scarf::

If we are getting Sess would we still go for Oosterwolde? Sess can cover wing and full back on the left

Yep and look at the potential resale value. Know we want to keep the majority together but look at the spending power the massive profits of Mitro and JP have given us. Should we want to sell to refund the budget next few years huge potential profits to in Robinson, Bassey, Andre, ESR, Sess, Stansfield and Muniz at this point. Potentially others depending who we sign. This is how you manoeuvre the PSR rules to climb the table and go to another level. The club bought older proven players to stabilise in the prem which was exactly the right tactic and is now supplementing that with extremely exciting young talent. We are all quick to criticise (including myself sometimes) but the way this is shaping up got to give the club huge credit here. Yes we are taking risks with injury prone players and any signing can be a flop but I love what they are doing here so let's just hope our medical team and Marco can work their magic.

HA6White

It looks like Oosterwolde has played CB more often than LB for Fener. Maybe he would be coming in as cover for LCB and LB....bit costly for a potential Ream replacement!
