- A CF (ideally - I really don't understand why we are so keen to get a wide player, we have plenty)

Things we might go for:

- A couple of loans to pad the squad a bit (ours is strong enough I think, though smaller than many)

Things we should consider:

- Allowing Reed to leave so he can play more than 5 minute cameos, cup games and fill in when other CMs are suspended. He could create £15m of budget for us. Celtic have some money rn...

Things we should do:

- Cut Vinicius and Mbabu. They aren't getting any game time, except in the most extreme circumstances.

We badly need a 2nd goalkeeper because if Leno is out for 15 games we will struggle with Benda and a loan would be perfect.

As for letting Reed go for a low fee, No Way! He might only play a few minutes but he is a great sub when we are ahead and a not bad sub if we are behind.

Wouldn't be a bad option, has plenty of experience scoring in the Premier league, not sure if Silva has Zaha under his radar at this time. But hey we never know with Silva and his his final signings.

I think we'll wait till deadline day to bring this winger in, see who becomes available late on. I've got a feeling we could get Gnoto if we can get him for around £20mil

Of all the options discussed Gnonto is a way down the list for me. We appear to be aiming higher these days, will have to see what we can pull out the hat. Will get behind whoever comes but more excited by the level of others weve been linked too 🤞🏼

Berge's a better central midfielder than Pereira in my opinion.

Pereira will eventually find his best form. In fact Pereira's delivery to the box is actually quite good, all we need is whoever is in the box to finish it. Against Leicester he made a pass to Traore that ended in a shot on goal, also made a cross in that went past the goal only needed someone to head it in, and also the Pereira corner that Tete headed that nearly went in. Those are just few examples, just watch the extended highlights against Leicester, you will see what I mean.

I've no burning desire for periera to be sold fwiw and dont think we will. Hes clearly an integral part of our build up play and I appreciate what he brings to fulham

If I were Silva I would keep him for one more season.
Muniz and Pereira are massive friends and that gives Fulham a bit more chemistry than other teams around.
If you lose in one market both Willian and Pereira, it isn't good for Muniz.

I read that Palace stalled due to fees, salary and agents costs, i did see as well that Zaha released if he comes straight back to the UK he gets a tax hit.

David Ornstein of The Athletic reported this morning that Wilfried Zaha's proposed return to the Premier League is now in doubt, citing tax reasons behind the likely collapse of his move to Leicester City.

Although playing internationally for the Ivory Coast, Zaha lived in the UK (and would have been UK tax resident) from the age of four through to his transfer to Galatasaray in Turkey, last summer. Having been UK resident for more than four years preceding his departure in 2023, Zaha will likely fall within the scope of the UK's 'Temporary Non-Residence' anti-avoidance rules.

Under those rules, returning to the UK to resume UK tax residence after a period of non-UK residence of five or fewer tax years can trigger UK tax liabilities on income and gains generated during the period of non-UK residence. In Zaha's case, this could mean him being chargeable to both UK and Turkish income tax on his salary earned while playing for Galatasaray (as well as potentially other charges).*

It is a similar dilemma to that faced by Jordan Henderson earlier this year when he was weighing up a return to the Premier League after a year playing in Saudi Arabia (before eventually signing for Ajax in the Netherlands).

While there is still time for Zaha's move to be salvaged, it is another example of the importance for sportspeople and internationally mobile individuals to not overlook the UK's Temporary Non-Residence rules.

Yes thats the Leicester moves, as i said i saw the new about the tax, that could ave played on with Palace as well but they didnt want to pay the costs apparently either
