Not sure how to break it to you guys but we're not signing any more players this season, according to BBC.

To be honest key part is

It has not been ruled out that Fulham could do something in the market but they are not looking to add to the wage bill unless they feel the potential player can really add something to the squad.

We're not signing anyone but we bid £30 plus million just last night for someone!

Yeah that's correct but if this article has me feeling like we're not really actively looking, except for Nelson.

Do they also have some advice as to the religion of the current Pope?

Why am I not surprised. We had better not lose any players between now and the window closing. Can you imagine the abuse the Khan's will get if we begin to fall into the relegation zone. Is this also the final straw for Marco and will he be off this year when a vacancy appears at a club with some ambition. Still one good point it will end all this Raheem Sterling gossip.

Last line left it open to be fair and reported all summer only looking to bring a few in to improve. Ties up with this bid literally yesterday.

To be fair if we just brought this Kevin in as an example and we feel he can play up front if needed (has done a few times in the past looking online) and then bring a very good 8 in I'd actually be pretty happy with that if we then didn't lose anyone else (or perhaps even sell AP if we bring in the 8). Just two more really good players of the right profile and think we could be looking good. Perhaps add Nelson on a loan for extra depth as well (as most of the wingers can play left or right) and sorted.

The BBC doing what the BBC do. Stating the bleeding obvious.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

They have no clue what we are doing and they are rehashing things they read on the internet about wage bills and psr etc etc when truthfully no one outside of the club has a scooby about the goings on.

Wait until the end of the window and you will have a definitive answer, otherwise sit back and enjoy the whirlwind of hypotheses and hunches, mingled with some crap bbc write about us.

I think you're asking a bit too much from us given we've only signed one player worth £500k so far.

Those 7/1 odd of relegation look quite tasty right now!

Too much to sign 2 more players to improve us? We put in a very good bid for 1 according to one of the most reliable journo s yesterday. As a result I'm certainly not panicking yet.

Neutral Zone Ultra

If true that we're just sitting on what we have it feels high risk, because right now it looks like Muniz could be prised away late in the window (especially if the striker merry-go-round keeps going and clubs get desperate), and I would worry about Traore, Cuenca, Berge and Bassey being subject of bids as well.

Neutral Zone Ultra

Man United have just agreed a deal for Sesko. There's another striker off the market, so we should push big bucks for Muniz if Atalanta/Newcastle get desperate.

Be interesting to see if Romulo to Leipzig happens now. Just a guess of course but the fact he's been sat there doing nothing all summer suggested to me he was waiting for Leipzig if Sesko left. If he does then that is one off our list of course.

We've shown with Palhinha that we're unlikely to cave into selling a player we want to keep unless we have enough time to find a replacement.
Stansfield situation slightly different in that it was an immense amout for an unproven player who was our 3rd option and we simply resorted to bringing back Vinicius in the short term.

I dont think we'd let any of them go without confidence we have great alternatives over the line.

As for Romulo, I agree I suspect we'll see him head to Leipzig given he'd be a more likely starter there. And who have again shown themselves to be a great stepping stone for attackers, Missed out on european football this year but a good chance of getting it again next season. A good way to get a good fee for the player and agent then move up again to a big prem or la liga oe top bundesliga deal a year or 2 layer

From what I am hearing Muniz to Atlanta is on, Atlanta and Muniz keen, if this happens and we do not sign, we could be well and truely fighting for survival, but hey, there is always the January Window

Just wondering, say Newcastle firm up their alleged interest in Muniz (possible of Isak goes?) and offer 50-55 million, would we be satisfied replacing with either Romulo or Hojland for 35-35 million?

Do you honestly see a scenario where Atalanta stump up £40-£50m AND we allow him to leave with only Raul as our striker at the end of the window? That's some pint glass off empty of wee you're consuming if you think that poorly about the club and the way it conducts itself.
