Ok, first one - Fulham target Pablo Osvaldo is set to sign for Atlético Madrid for a 10m-fee.
I know we are looking for a striker (not including Gudjohnson) and two full-backs. We might get more but those are the main targets. I don't have a clue as to who we are targeting.

This guy has got way too much press for us. 10m is a lot and I'm thinking playing at a biggish club in Spain would be an easier move for this guy all things equal. Plus for that kind of transfer fee I'm guessing wages may have been an issue for us.

They received 40m for Carroll in January and Pardew said he's allowed to invest everything in new players.
I can confirm that our Chairman has told Jol what the transfer budget is likely to be. Jol is thinking it over as we speak.
The transfer budget is likely to be between two and ten million quid below the asking price of any player Jol wants to bring in.

Henderson made his England debut against France in November 2010
Liverpool are continuing to hold negotiations with Sunderland in an attempt to sign Jordan Henderson for a fee in the region of £20m.
The Anfield club hope a deal can be done before he joins England's Under-21 squad on Wednesday for the European Championship in Denmark.
Sunderland rejected Liverpool's previous offer, which is believed to be worth about £16m.
But discussions are ongoing over the future of the 20-year-old midfielder.
The Black Cats are holding out for the full asking price of £20m for their player, who won his first England cap in the friendly defeat against France at Wembley in November.
But Liverpool are still hopeful of striking a compromise deal quickly that will allow them to make Henderson their first major signing since Kenny Dalglish was confirmed as manager.
Manchester United had been regarded as the long-time favourites to sign Henderson after he made an outstanding start to last season, but their interest cooled and manager Sir Alex Ferguson has moved on to other midfield targets.
Henderson's potential acquisition fits in with Liverpool's policy under Dalglish, director of football Damien Comolli and owners Fenway Sports Group to pursue young, and preferably English, talent, with Ipswich's teenage striker Connor Wickham and Blackburn Rovers defender Phil Jones also Anfield targets.
Sunderland-born midfielder Jordan, who had a loan spell at Coventry City early in his career and signed a five-year contract at The Stadium of Light in April 2010, came to prominence as Steve Bruce's Black Cats made a fine start to the season and was rewarded with an England call-up by coach Fabio Capello.
And even though his form dipped as Sunderland struggled in the second half of the campaign, Henderson is still regarded as one of England's brightest young prospects.
If, as expected, Liverpool sign Henderson it will be their second expensive raid on the north-east's pool of young England stars after they signed Andy Carroll from Newcastle United in a £35m deal in January.

Sunderland are looking for strikers, as are Newcastle. Jay Bothroyd is a likely option.

Jol looking to bring in Hughton - Cornelius Jol and condition coach Lindemann are on their way. We need a goalkeeper coach unless Hitchcock, who is no member of this "Hughes clan" stays. That definitely is a possibility.

Insua was out on loan all last year at Galatasary, so does anyone know how he did, or if he played?
He looked solid enough at l'pool, and he was a good attacking threat.
Martin Jol is an attacking manager, he won't be against someone like him.
Insua didn't play too much in Istanbul, only 12 starts with 4 sub appearances. They have a buyer's option, though.

Well said, no doubt Parker would be a great player for almost every team in our league I would rather us spend the bulk of our money on a quality forward or two. As Mr Fulham said as well he wouldn't come to us.
If Parker is worth 7 million though then Nolan is worth about 2 million and JenARSE about 700,000.
Chris Eagles is looking like he'll go to Everton.
It looks like Moyes is on a tight budget again but Eagles would be a good acquisition as well as Bothroyd on a free.

I'd be happy with Eagles and Bothroyd. How about Hitzlsberger at West Ham too? Look good when he came back from injury and would score goals from midfield
even Cardiff fans think Bothroyd is a waste of space, why moving up to the prem would change that I dont know. Eagles is kind of the same, if he was good enough he would have been back in the prem as soon as Burnley went down

Bothroyd would be cheap as he's on a free and I shouldn't imagine wages would be that high either. I think Burnley wanted too much for Eagles last season. he's still young and in my opinion, could do a job for us.

I think with the increasing frequency of stories like this a lot of people are starting to realise that Mr Barton has become a more mature fella and sorted his problems and is letting his football do the talking (a lot of which was I think due to Nolan and a humbling season in the championship) . I don't think I'd be exaggerating by saying last season he would have been an England regular if not for his past indiscretions. I mean last year he and Wilshere were infinitely better than Gerrard and Lampard. If he is available for £1.5m this is a no brainer for any club in the premiership.

And we have an Italian CB on trial, Alessandro Potenza from mid-table side Catania.
Nothing exciting really - but Ruffier is an excellent keeper. But I want two fullbacks, Clyne and Bertrand would be class.

Campbell has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Bloomfield Road for £1.25m and QPR are understood to have met that figure.
However, QPR may yet face competition for the former Birmingham City frontman with several clubs understood to be keen on Campbell.
Fulham, Stoke City and Sunderland have all been linked with offers, but QPR will hope to win the race for his signature.

West Ham accept £10m Parker bid - but he won't go
West Ham have accepted a £10million bid from Turkish club Fenerbahce for Scott Parker - but the midfielder is refusing to go.
The Hammers are looking to move on their top earners, such as £70,000-a-week England ace Parker, following their relegation from the Premier League.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce opened the bidding with a tempting offer to West Ham's hierarchy.
But Parker and his young family are happily settled in the UK and have no intention of moving to Istanbul.
It puts Parker, 30, in a predicament as no English club has tabled a bid ahead of West Ham's return to pre-season training.
Long-term admirers Spurs are refusing to shell out such a large amount on a player whose age gives him little resale value.
Parker is under contract until 2014 but has a verbal agreement allowing him to leave West Ham following their drop into the Championship.

Reports from Spain suggest that Fulham have tabled an €8m bid for Barcelona forward Jeffren.
Spanish newspaper Sport published the claim today and said that Jeffren, who has already turned down the chance to join Udinese, will meet with Barcelona on Monday to discuss his future. The 23-year-old starred during this summer's European under-21 championships and made Spain's first goal in their victory over Switzerland in the final.
Liverpool and Valencia are also reportedly interested in the Barcelona youngster.

Sky Sports News are reporting that Fulham are amongst a host of Premier League clubs who are interested in signing German midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger.
The 29-year-old midfielder is expected to make a decision on his future this week with Blackburn, Fulham and his former club Aston Villa understood to be in the running. Hitzlsperger activated a clause in his West Ham contract allowing him to leave Upton Park if the club were relegated, having made 13 appearances in an injury-hit spell with the Hammers.
Sky Sports also suggest that Hitzlsperger has offers from the continent on the table as well.

I sort of get it now, thanks to Mr. Fulham but it still seems a bit silly that in and U21 competition you would have anyone older than 21, given they could have started the competition at 20 years old but I'm guessing the coaches and national sides want continuity thus retaining players who are WELL past 20 years old who started with the team. The new Nottingham Forest manager is looking to bring in experienced players to supplement his young side as he plots a promotion push. Greening, 32, had been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest last season under former boss Billy Davies but enjoyed a excellent end to the campaign with Fulham.
Whether Martin Jol, who handed Greening a start in last week's second leg Europa League draw with NSI Runavik, would be prepared to let the versatile veteran leave to free up a place in his squad for a new midfielder, remains to be seen

Manchester City have received a €40m (£35.3m) offer for Carlos Tevez from the striker's former club Corinthians, who are hoping to cash in on the Argentinian's determination to be closer to his family.
On first glance, the bid from the Brazilian club appears fanciful in the extreme. Tevez, whose contract at City is thought to be in excess of £200,000 a week and runs until June 2014, is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, and the Brazilian league would fall well short of the standards he has become used to in Europe. However there are several factors in its favour.
Tevez has been unhappy at City for a while despite winning the FA Cup and qualifying for the Champions League last season, and said last week that he wants to be closer to his two children and their mother, who live in Argentina. He has been linked with moves to Italy and Spain, but the chance to return to South America may tempt the 27-year-old.

Stoke City have agreed a fee with West Ham United for striker Carlton Cole.
The 27-year-old is currently in Switzerland with the Hammers squad for a pre-season training.
The Potters are now in talks with Cole and his agent over a proposed switch to the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke chairman Peter Coates told BBC Radio Stoke: "We've agreed terms with them [West Ham], it's now just seeing where we get with the player and agent, and that's still a live issue."

Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have denied retaining an interest in Arsenal's Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner.

And I thought it was very classy of Roy, after Davis did so much to get Rangers into the Champions league, to keep Steve here in pre-season training until Rangers got eliminated in the qualifying match. Once Rangers had punted it, Roy let him go. Classy? Maybe not so much.

Used to be the #1 goalkeeper of Club Brugge. He was out with a serious injury most of last season. He used his time recovering by browsing internet fora about Club Brugge (like FoF for Fulham) to attack the current #1 (he was trying to get his first team spot back at the time) and to endlessly praise himself as the best goalkeeper in the world. He also criticized the manager, the staff and the club as such. He would have whole conversations with himself through different accounts. I have never rated Stijnen. He was an arrogant goalkeeper. His only exceptional gift was that in a one on one situation he had a considerably bigger chance than most goalies to actually block the shot. But on all the other fronts, he was average.

whilst Bazilian clubs are a lot more capable in the transfer market than they used to be, my understanding was that they were looking to play this deal the Real Madrid way, in that they'd buy a marquee player and look for the increase in revenue/sponsorship/interest in the club to offset some of the fee. But, unlike when they bought in Ronaldo, Tevez is more Corinthians oriented than Ronaldo who is a figurehead all throughout Brazil.

That would make sense, and as you say Real Madrid have done this, the difference I think is that Corinthians do not have the money up front, or the ability to get the said money. Add to this that Brazilian football is corrupt and the transfer is on shaky ground.

one of the problems is BZ is first choice and any player of his type will know they are going to us as second choice.
Pav is not a starter for spurs so I doubt he would want to join us to do the same. At newcastle he would pretty much be first choice.

Nicklas Bendtner reveals he wants to leave Arsenal
Denmark forward Nicklas Bendtner has confirmed he expects to leave Arsenal this summer for a club where he is "happy and plays every week".

The striker, 23, who suffered from injury for most of last season, has been linked with Hamburg and Stoke.
"I have done my part as well as I can and it's up to Arsenal now to sort it out," he said.
"Hopefully it will be sorted soon but, as I said to the Danish press, when I know something they will."
Bendtner made the comments at Hampden Park as the Denmark squad trained ahead of Wednesday night's friendly against Scotland.
Asked if Stoke City were one of the teams he had spoken to, Bendtner laughed then replied: "I can't say anything about who I have been speaking to, but hopefully it will all get sorted out soon.
"I would like to play at a place where you are happy and play every week, that is the most important thing for any football player and hopefully that will happen soon."
Denmark coach Morten Olsen believes Bendtner needs to get regular first-team football.
He said: "Nicklas has been injured for a year but he can be a good player again."
Bendtner has made 98 appearance for Arsenal in the league, scoring 22 goals, and has 38 caps for his country.

have to agree with that, how nice it would be to sign two proper forwards by the weekend. At this moment I would take Keane and Cole even as a last resort.
Stoke have made some great signings and look now to have a squad that really will be a bit of a force to be reckoned with, coupled with the "Britannia/Co-op" effect
I personally like Pulis and think he really is upgrading his squad in an almost Arsenal way by buying a lot of big physical players and adding the more flairy players around them.
I'm thinking a good Europa run or top 6 could genuinely be on the cards for them!

As a Twente fan I look on the Twente boards a lot. 'The insider' of the board says Chadli is keen on joining Fulham. Also on one of the newssites they said that Jol will do a new offer. He can leave for 8 million euros plus some clauses, I think he will join Fulham. Good news for you, bad news for us (Twente). Would be a great buy. He's not a goalscoring striker but is capable to play as a second striker (in dutch nr. 10 position). At Twente he played has a leftwinger most of the times. He has a great shot (free kick) and crosses good with both legs.
Ruiz should be 15 million euros. I doubt Fulham will pay that kind of money. Also I think Chadli would be better for you guys. Ruiz is better at the moment but already 26 years old. The chances of selling him and making profit are low. When Chadli plays 2 or 3 good years at Fulham in the Premier League, with him being 23/24 by then is a great player in the market.

Chadli would predominantly play on the wing and provide cover for the likes of Duff, which we don't really have unless Dembele plays wide left. He's had a couple of good seasons in Holland and looks a good player. Worth a punt in my opinion.

The agent of AS Roma striker Marco Borriello has slammed the club after he was put up for sale.
Roma are inviting offers for the former AC Milan man.
"While he remains at Roma, he will train at the head of the group," said agent Tiberio Cavalleri.
"The news he was on the market was a surprise, above all considering the fact they only bought him out from Milan on June 26."
Borriello's representative pointed the finger at a lack of organisation within the new-look Roma.

Currently plays on the left of a 4-3-3, Ruiz on the right. Ruiz has a better overall goalscoring record, but didnt get as many last year.

Collins John just needed a manager that knew how to consistently get the best out of him; and for a while that looked like Cookie. There's no doubting the boy had talent.
He finished our top goal scorer (I believe) of the 05-06 season with 11 goals, most of which came when he was used as an impact sub.

Fulham manager Martin Jol is set to make a move for Juventus striker Amauri, as he looks to improve his side's options up front.
Jol is desperate to add another striker before the transfer window closes next week but has so far been frustrated in his attempts to find the right man.
But the Fulham manager has been boosted by news that Amauri may be available from Juventus. The club's manager Antonio Conte has not guaranteed Amauri a regular starting place in his side and that has alerted Jol, who is keen to strike a deal.
Amauri, a Brazilian-born Italian international, would bring a wealth of experience to Jol's attack and the Dutchman is ready to make a bid for the 31-year-old, who seems to have been frozen out at Juventus.
He spent last season on loan at Parma but the club have decided against making the move permanent - leaving Jol free to step in to try and seal a deal.
Scored 7 in 11 last season when on loan to Parma, but I think he might be a bit old at 31.

There's no way in hell Dempsey would leave us to go to either Bolton or Newcastle (unless he's driven by money, then the latter may be a possibility).
He's only ever stated that in some point in his career he'd love to play in the Champions League. There's no way he'll ever achieve that with either of those two clubs, so he may as well stay put.
10 million would also be way off the mark.
All joking aside if we let him go for £10M the person who says yes to accepting that figure should be sacked.

There are several clubs INTERESTED, or at least said to be interested. That, plus the involvement of clubs like Wolfsburg, Spurs and Sunderland should guarantee a 13m+ fee. Freiburg sporting director Dufner is apparently holding out for roundabout 15m.

If Hodgson could convince Fayed to spend 10mil+ on AJ based on his record, Jol should have absolutely no problem convincing Fayed to spend 15mil on Cisse based on his.

Yeah definitely I remember, but to an extent MAF has short arms and long pockets. And I'm not having a go at MAF either because I think hes great.

I think the length of MAF's arms are in direct proportion to his trust in his manager. He basically told Hodgson he could have anything he wanted before he left (
hence MAF being so bitter about it) but seemed reluctant to back Hughes as he never seemed too keen and was clearly not his first choice.
Jol is a different proposition altogether and I honestly believe if he asks he will get.
