Thames Bank 1

At end of day, the way Fulham do business we will not know until practically signed. In Marco I trust to help get us going higher, bet on us in cups next year.

There's value to be had in this market with a bit of savvy recruitment and research.

Renato Veiga to Chelsea is proof of that. Tall, Athletic, great left foot and can play in a variety of positions - €14m is a bargain.

It'll be interesting to see what our plan is this summer and if targets have already been sound out.

IMHO - Andre is must + someone else to play alongside him, as replacing Joao isn't going to be easy.

Andre + Scott in the middle would be great, but I would want McTominay as the sole Joao replacement, he's much better with licence to go forward and play as an 8.

Kalvin Phillips is a big no-no from me. His passion and heart has gone from the game, and he thinks he's greater than he is. Sure, we have a great track record of rejuvenating careers, but it's not like he'd come cheap either. The West Ham spell was awful. 29 in December too, so resale value probably not there.

Really liked the idea of Florentino, but links have gone cold there.

Andre is a must, you'll get 2-3 seasons out of him under Silva's stewardship and will be a 70m player if developed right. Big clubs circling and if we agreed a deal with him last summer, then hopefully this is our man.

Other options; Dario Essugo, Junior Mwanga, Batista Mendy, Tahirovic, Samu Costa.

Let's see what comes through.

I think there could be life in Phillip's with the right coach, and I believe we have that, for me he was just in the wrong club, just like Willian at Arsenal.

Sadly she wasn't

Think for me, it's more the financial side of things - You'll look at about 20m or more for him, plus high wages, and he's 29 at the mid-season.

According to skysports website, Max Kilman just signed a for West Ham for £40m on a 7 year deal- he's 27 years old!!

They can only amortise the funds over 5 years which means they actually wanted to offer him a 7 year deal- huge vote of confidence in the guy

Personally think he is a solid central defender and would not surprise me if he steps up to international football next season. Having said that £40m is huge money and that's the problem Premier teams have buying from another team in same league and buying British?

Fulham quietly working on a deal for AFC winger Reiss Nelson as well as ESR. 👀

Can't make out whether Nelson is a decent footballer or whether it's because he plays for Arsenal?
Smith-Rowe on the other hand is very tidy!

ESR is quality. I think it the right system and for the right price Nelson could be a very good signing. I like both players.

Will ESR retain his breaks from referees for being ex-Arsenal?

statement signings if they sign

Marco has objected to our recruitment being quite late. Assuming the players are back training imminently what qualifies as too late given we have signed no one?

filham

Mid table premier league finishers, A London club, money in the transfer Kitty, I guess we can expect one or two big signings this summer.
I still think the priority is to keep our current top players.

junior white

Just watching Turkey V Netherlands and I am not an advocate og signing players because they have a decent tournament, however the Turkish player Yilmaz looks very good. If he was in our price range be happy if we looked at him, however i hear he is linked with CL clubs and Man Utd.

Base don what I have seen manager wise, if Marco were to leave at any time wouldnt mind the Swiss coach or Montella who has this Turkish team playing very well

Hopefully the majority of our business is done this month.

My worry is  sometimes signings from a big club the players tend not to kick on and fail to reach their full potential.

ffc73

Maybe sometimes players at big club's potential is to actually play football at a mid table club.

Haha I had the exact same reaction. He might just be a post who benefits from world class teammates and tired opposition when he comes on 😆 On the other hand he might set the cottage alight! 🤞

So this is my transfer list for this summer, some of for now and some are for the future:

- Trevoh Chalobah
- Ronnie Edwards
- Harrison Burrows
- Florentino Luis
- Scott McTominay
- Reiss Nelson
- Emile Smith Rowe

That is obviously going to cost some serious money. With the Palhinha funds and Andreas looking for a move, I think the above is doable. For the purpose of the list above I've presumed Andreas leaves this summer. If you combine that with Marco Silva saying that he doesn't expect FFP to be a problem this window then I think we are in a strong position. You could throw in another goalkeeper and a centre forward to that list, but I would prefer to rely on our academy players to fill the gap- especially Jay Stansfield who I hope kicks on this coming season. If there are additional funds and someone like Jonathan David wanted to join us then I would have that signing, but that is unlikely.

If we got offered somewhere between £35m to £40m for Robinson, then I would probably do that deal- not an unrealistic price if you keep in mind the reported £37.5m Ian Maatsen deal. Presuming that happened I would look at Sergio Reguilon.

Anyhow, I thought I would share my thoughts.
