Interesting if true,
Does your friend directly proport to having some sort of ITK at the club or just going off of general chatter from whats about in the public arena?

Mengi link seems a decent acquisition, obviously tough to judge to hard on playing in a Luton team that took plenty hammerings but no doubt he'd be in a better side here - hard to know who'll turn out the better player long term - Him or Chalobah. but hell certainly be cheaper.

Mostly RCB though so likely one or the other you'd think

I mean, not going to say anything about the source, but the idea of Ryan Sess, Smith Rowe, McTom and Andre in one window is an insane amount of talent, and ambition......That's not factoring in smaller deals, loans etc......Such a bloody amazing time to be a fulham fan. Looking at what Chelsea are going through atm.....some are really jealous....;.

I like Mengi but I really think we need someone with more size who is good in the air to complement Bassey.

Yeah, with a poster who says they know someone who knows someone, it's hard to tell the accuracy.

But you're right, if we signed Andre, ESR, Mctominay and either Tengi or Chalobah on long term deals all in one window, and still managed to do it within the realms of FFP and giving us space to potentially buy players in January and next summer too still to build on what we'd have, then it would be quite the uplift in terms of turning this club in to one to pay close attention to and going up a notch in our own and others expectations.

Regardless what people think of Mctominay, he played a lot of matches at the heart of a Man Utd team that came 8th last year. ESR everyone knows about. Andre won the Copa Libertadores and is a Brazil international (24 yrs old like ESR).. Get in Chalobah, on top of young players like Sess, Bassey, Muniz.. the academy players coming through like Harris, Stansfield, Godo, LDF etc and then players like Castagne, Leno and Iwobi, who are all good players, early on in their careers with us and contracts who've got a way to go in their careers still and in starts to shape up nicely.. similar to Robinson, Lukic and Pereira etc.

Then it's just a case of constantly building.. supporting Marco and proving ourselves in the results we get on the pitch.

This report is saying Andre s replacement has finally been signed by Fluminese. Not sure how reliable:

Other reports today suggested that they were struggling to get it all through. Also reports saying Fluminese in financial trouble and need to sell Andre so no way they sanction this signing without selling him. Please let this be the domino that finally gets us Andre with the deal we want.

FulhamTransfer also picked up on this: https://twitter.com/FulhamTransfer/status/1818285983651053924 which suggests talks are still ongoing and likely verifies the ITK post of TIFF from yesterday

Here's praying. All reports before said they wanted £25 million and we had dropped our offer to £20 million so there was a feeling of why are we just not doing it. Seems many are now hinting that actually it was them that moved the goal posts and they want £30 million. Also rumours that they want a 50% sell on clause!! If either of those things are true fully understand us saying no, especially if they are desperate to sell and no one else is in. Regardless a 50% sell on when spending that much would be ridiculous. 20% absolute max. So many different rumours with this one however who the hell knows. Everything crossed.

Another string to the bow re andré signing.. apparently fluminese are very close to finalising the deal to bring in a replacement.

Let's hope so. If we can wrap up Andre and ESR it'll be a hell of an exciting time for the club IMO.

ESR medical completed according to SSN.

Andre negotiations may well be complicated if he has multiple agents who have a share in his contract.
Very common in South American but illegal over here, so all agents have to agree to the deal whilst giving up their individual player's rights.

Hope he isn't as gutted as he looks in that video!  :slap:

Couldn't agree more.

It's easy to forget how much height we've lost after the departure of Tosin (6'5") and Palhinha (6'3").

Andre (5'9") and Mengi (6'0") aren't of the same stature, and I think we may struggle at set pieces/crosses if we don't get some taller players in.

I like Andre and Mengi as options, but height may partly explain our reportedly continued interest Chalobah and McTominay (both 6'3").

He was walking like I do. Stiff and awkward and as if he was in pain.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Probably exhausted. Would have taken an overnight flight from the US then went straight into his medical

He was walking like I do after I've been forced to leave my boyhood club for minutes even though I'm a fan favourite.

It'll be down to the Hammersmith End to give him some love.

This is most likely it. I'm being a bit flippant/tongue in cheek.
