Fair points, taken. Although to be honest if we had brought him in I would be expecting to see more of him than Jimenez over the course of the season.

I wouldn't have. Admittedly all I have to go off is a few youtube highlight vids but after watching those I thought 1) he had an intriguing skill set and could see why Fulham was interested and 2) he looked quite raw and not someone I would have expected much from in his first season in the PL.

Yeah after finishing work and thinking about the AP post I'm actually thinking AP is an idiot about this kind of stuff and doesn't think about how he lives under a microscope of fans/media and what to him was probably a harmless funny joke, got turned into this massive thing. It's certainly a possibility.
