I think West Ham will avoid relegation anyway, unfortunately.

We have Spurs to thank for that screw up.

I'd most like West Ham, then Forest, Spurs and Palace in that order.

Much as usually I can't stand Leeds, I'd rather it was one of the other 2.

For me, West Ham, then Spurs, then Forest, Leeds, Palace.
For me, Chelsea, then Chelsea, then Chelsea.  Oh the joy that would bring.

I'm hoping Spurs go down as that marks a huge shift away from a 'Big 6' mentality where those clubs always seem immune from relegation (e.g. if they have a 'poor' season they then sign up the best players from the non Big 6 teams that have done well). They were lucky the bottom 3 were so poor last year and they fluked a Champions League spot via an easy route to the Europa League final but I'd love to see them involved in a real relegation scrap. Hoping they lose their next 5 league games.

Isn't it boring without any proper transfer rumours today.

Yes it is and I apologise that this is the only post I can comment on as I have no news to add regarding transfers.

South Coast White

Looks like Sterling and Chelski are close to agreeing his exit, bookies have us as favourites along with Palace and Newcastle, expecting a deal before window closes.

AJW48361

Looks like Sterling will have he's contract paid up not a bad living being in a Footballer.

Very excited about Bobb transfer , really hope we get that deal over the line. Once again we may not see his best form this season but going forward could prove a brilliant addition.
More concerned about the Pepi transfer. I can confess that I have not seen much of this lad but what worries me is the lack of confidence in his level emanating from ex players and journalists.
Have now listened to several podcasts and read several articles and am yet to find anyone who believes he can make the step up to Premier League.
I have confidence absolute confidence in Marco Sulva. If he is pushing this then fine but like some other contributors on this site I wonder if this is being pushed by owners for other reasons.
Having said all this, it would not surprise me if we make a late bid for Strand Larsen or pluck someone that has not been mentioned yet ...

SimonDaviesEnjoyer

Strand Larsen for the right price would be great. I think he'd be useful given the way we play. 40m would be a crazy fee though, and that's what is being quoted in the press.

Pepi talks seem to have his an impasse. This would suggest we are unable to bid more rather than we dont want to. I dont care if we get Pepi or not anyway we are grand till summer once muniz is fit again

I can see this being a DoF selection especially with the World Cup coming up. Lots of mentions of Fulham from the commentators. One of their own in the Fulham team raises Fulhams profile in the US. Sells loads of shirts and creates another generation of US Fulham fans.
...and if he does manage to take the step up to the EPL, all the better.
We've usually done really well with Americans at Fulham. Hopefully that will continue.   ::scarf::

Just looks like negotiating hard as always. We've already offered a good fee here, and such haggling with our transfers is what facilitates ability to make such moves when the time comes and avoids ffp dramas. Well have a max we value the player at, let's see how it goes. Still think it happens personally.

"Incapable to make final effort" is very strange phraseology.

A cynic would say it sums us up as a football club.

All transfers come with the final sign off from Silva. That's direct from his own mouth in interviews. We have pursued this guy over multiple windows, whoever first suggested it from recruitment process we won't know, but the setup historically here is that the signing won't be made without him agreeing he wants the target.

As for his prospects, from these podcasters how many of these actually watch psv closely? Guys got one of the best goals per minutes ratio in europe at 22 years old (only just turned 23). Might not have worked out for him yet in a USA shirt but he's doing the biz in domestic and European competitions in between his injuries.

Well see if it translates, of course a big step up but as op said, if anyone can work with him I trust Marcos judgment on player development

So is "Fulham currently incapable to make final effort to of reaching PSV asking price."

Just a badly written tweet I think 😅
If we're negotiating were hardly gonna say "look guys we can pay more, we just don't want to" after several increased bids at some point ya say..."that's really all we can do." To the other party

Goal*  not showing huge enthusiasm for this move... Marcus can work his wonders I'm sure... pity his broken arm will keep him out for 2 months. Hopefully give him time to get settled.
