Good bit of business on Bournemouths part tbh

HamsterWheel

Twice he's left following disagreements with the owner. Not likely to make him favourite with any other clubs looking for a new boss.

I think it is madness to sack a manager at this time. They bought heavily to get them promoted and they have started ok except for the last result. He clearly doesn't get on with some in the club. But for the club itself having already spent out it is quite a gamble.

Have they really started ok? They did beat Villa (a team that also look like a complete fraud with a largely unproven manager). Then they have lost three in a row with no goals scored but 16 allowed. It is one thing losing to City, Arsenal and Liverpool in a row, but in all three games they have just rolled over without a resemblace of a fight according to what I have seen and read. It's ok to lose to better teams, but surely it is not ok to not even put up a fight?

Couple that with constantly saying that the team is not good enough and the board is to blame and there is really no reason to keep him, is there?

I felt betrayed by the manner in which Parker left Fulham , he was looking for the move to Bournmouth and trying to engineer a Fulham sacking with a good pay day at the same time. In spite of the boring "Parker Ball" I had supported him as manager thinking that his time here as player and coach meant he had a little Fulham blood in his veins.
Never really understood why he was so keen to move to Bournmouth ,unless there was good money on the table, and am now even more puzzled by his exit only four games after a promotion season.
Is this post a wind up, if not Parker had best write a book telling all.
Not looking for arguments but is there any factual evidence that
"he was looking for the move to Bournmouth and trying to engineer a Fulham sacking with a good pay day at the same time".  Not saying that wasn't the case, but always wondered where that information came from.

We rarely get official statements on these matters and have to half believe the rumours that often come from the media, as you say in this case the rumours were pretty strong and the best we had to go on.

It's never his fault. He continues to absolve himself of any blame for results.

His last 2 clubs have been very expensive squads for the Championship who should get promoted, he struggles - moans about needing more support, gets backed with new players and eventually achieves promotion, only to fail at kicking on to the next level in the Prem.

He fails to adapt his coaching to the top level, cannot motivate and galvanise a team at the elite level and then blames the owners.

Scott occupies the middle ground between Roy Hodgson and Mark Hughes in my heart - Roy I still love and left with my blessing, Hughes hurt and I wished him only ill will, Parker I wanted gone by that point, didn't like how he did it but moved on quick from him and haven't looked back since. I don't have sympathy for him though.

Can't feel remotely sorry for him.  Not so much the payout he gets, but the way he viewed life in the premier league first with Fulham and now with Bournemouth.  It's completely clear he sees some games as lost before they kick off.  The only way to stay up is to go as hard as possible in every single game and see what happens.  Bournemouth didn't do that on Saturday. It shows in how deep they defended for the early goals.  Ridiculous amounts of space between six yard line and edge of box.  You can't do that and as gaffer when he saw it for the first goal it's his job to do something about it there and then.  Abject.

Suspect his game plan will turn to sofa based punditry now.  TV remote control sales to rocket as off buttons fail to cope with increased usage.

Maybe with a few guest appearances in Savile Row windows?

Yes, and your argument is?

There are far too many drivel pundits. Aggressive bollocks pundits are fewer and in greater demand.

The Bournemouth board just look at Mitro this and last season  and the decision is made for them.

Clinton Morrison seems 2 make a career out of it 🤷‍♂️

Steeeeeeeeeed

The Bournemouth Based fan / reporter (both) on Talksport just not very sympathic at all to Parker, taking the mickey somewhat, hints that he believes he wanted the sack,.and that he has probably made about £4-£5 Million from his last 2 sackings, etc.

Not really - he's cost them a packet regardless of how good Bournemouth's contract may have been from their poin of view.  If he had any real professional quality or potential he would have quietly said as little as possible after the game and simply respected his employer by quitting the job.  That action may have resulted in much, much different circumstances to the one he finds himself in.

But we know, because history tells us so, that Parker demands money for doing anything even when he wants to move onto his choice of new and better employment whilst still under contract.  He is his own worse enemy.
