Quote from: DM on August 03, 2024, 01:16:50 PMNews about André this morning isn't entirely true. He wants the move and has agreed personal terms.
The back and forth over what seems to be around €5m continues.

As you say, at least we'll know pretty soon.

Seems like a small sum considering its for a player who could prove so pivotal to how we play and given the fact we'd sign him on a long term deal. Especially given how young he is and what he's achieved so far.

From my interpretation of what you've said, does that mean the base fee is agreed and these are the add ons?

€5m is apparently £4.2m atm..

What's the middle ground, what do we want to pay and what do they want, why are we both being so stubborn?

I appreciate €5m isn't an insignificant sum, but surely it shouldn't be that difficult to come to a middle ground?

Fulham don't want to pay anymore.
They believe their offer is fair & know that Fluminense need to sell.
Fulham are hoping that Fluminense will back down towards the end of the window.

Of course this leaves the door open for another side to swoop.

Don't want to and not can't?

Personally feel he's the priority for us now.

Who the hell are Top Skills Sports UK?!?! Hopefully a reliable source but never heard of them. Please let it be true!!
I have checked them out and seem to be  coosha a bonafide sport management business .This Andre topic has been on this MB forever at least it feels like it
Think we will know in the 10days.
I am fed up with it.

I know how you feel, i am still waiting to find out what happened to Lord Lucan, and my patience is wearing thin.
Wasn't he last seen riding Shergar?.. :slap:

I reckon Lucan is missing, he is hiding in the Riverside stand, that's the cause of the delay. I think he is a bit worried about you and your lilo in the pool.

Insert deadpan face

If true I guess were playing hardball given we believe theyll drop their fee and no one else is reported to be in at the same price. It really is anyones guess, not gonna work myself up too much not knowing the ins and outs.

Will see how it shakes out

I Ronic

I've been following the various links on here, re Scott McTominay. The Galatasary people are saying he really wants to go there and hates the idea of going to Fulham. Despite their offer being way lower than ours. Ten Hag saying what a lovely bloke he is and he wants him to stay (despite the fact they've signed his replacement and need the money) so I've switched to looking at the betting odds.
11/8 Fulham
11/8 Stays put
9/2   Galatasary
11/2 Spuds
Then it's 11's or more for everyone else.
Seeing as we play them first game and if he played for Fulham and it lead to us winning or drawing their fans would be in uproar. I think if it happens it will be at the end of the window.
Still no news on Jason Koumas!

Yes i remember that now, Shergar was a Lap Dancer from a club up the West End.
Apparently he use to ride her on average 6 days a week with Sundays off so he could care for his spuds and tomatoes on his allotment.

I'm prepared to bet Fluminese are a difficult party to deal with.

If we're pivoting from Andre then Cardoso is a great option. I do feel like missing out on Andre will be something we regret though. Obviously I don't know what's going on in the negotiations.

They have just signed his replacement and are cash strapped so we'll see what happens. I still predict Forest go in and nab him

Corinthians Accepts R$100 Million Offer from Fulham for Wesley

From an account with 17 followers, quoting a website they created. I'd approach with caution that this is true.

Statistically Cardoso is very good. I've never seen him play, but his stats for tackles and interceptions are pretty high- I saw the data on WhoScored.
